About Da Silly Heads

Da Silly Heads is a forward thinking social enterprise with the promotion of mental health advocacy at its core.

Our workshop experiences are delivered with the help of a set of animated cartoon characters, aka Silly Heads, each of whom represent a specific mental health diagnosis or experience we are living with or have lived through.

Stigma Is Silly - The Workshop

Our workshop has been developed in order to take participants on a journey through lived mental health experiences, empower themselves and their community to practice visual advocacy and get pro active with their self care. At the end of this experience, participants should be better equipped to help combat stigma in society and be more confident in how they communicate around the topic of mental health.

We have developed tiered packages for our workshop, designed to be flexible when it comes to organization's needs and wellbeing initiatives.

Participants will be taken on a journey born from a very personal but powerful story, touching on themes such as mental health stigma, visual mental health advocacy and the crucial aspect of selfcare.

Each participant is encouraged to become engaged with the message by utilizing their working materials upon delivery which consists of a downloadable worksheet, post workshop advocacy booklet, wallet/purse advocacy card and advocacy sticker included with all three packages that are on offer.

Each package has the option of adding some add on advocacy products, outlined below. The benefit of these packs is the ability of the participants to carry the message of mental health advocacy into workplaces, lecture rooms and communities.
